Well...here we go. We are going to give this a try together as we embark on a journey of 'flip' learning. Below is the lesson portion of our class, your assignment portion will be given to you in class tomorrow. Be sure to watch the video as it is the basis to this portion of the unit. Remember, I WILL help you in class if you have any problems with understanding the concepts that I go over in the video.

Unit 4: Understanding Percents

Well...most of you did very well on the test today; some even got the bonus question. Congrats!

The next unit of study is UNDERSTANDING PERCENTS. The sub-units of study are:
       4.1 Representing Percents
       4.2 Fractions, Decimals, and Percents
       4.3 Percent of a Number
       4.4 Combining Percent

We will be trying something new during this unit; we will be doing something called "flip learning". Flip learning is when you watch the "teaching" portion of the lesson as homework and you come to school the next day ready to work on the assignment. It will give us more time at school to work on the assignment portion of the Math and allow you to recieve more help with your "problem" areas of your assignment.

Keep a eye on the site for assignments, videos, and homework.
